The OLED TV technology firstly, introduced by Sony Corp. in 2007, by making 11-inch OLED TV with a very expensive price at the time, about $ 2,500. But now it seems Sony has lagged far the big OLED TV business than its competitors from Korea, Samsung and LG.
The observers expect that the big OLED TV to be introduce at the International Consumer Electronics Show, Las Vegas will be set on sale more than $ 5,000. But LG has not been willing to disclose the sale price of its Big OLED TV.
